Mazdoor Iftar- 17th March 2026

“Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his.”

Alhamdulillah,
during this blessed month of Ramadan, Kifayah Foundation was honoured to provide iftar for over 500 people, supporting mazdoor and families in need.

Through this effort, we aimed to ensure that those fasting could break their fast with dignity, nourishment, and care.

May Allah (SWT) accept this sadaqah and reward all those who contributed. Ameen.

Kifayah Water Project - 15th March 20026

“The best charity is giving water to drink.”
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Ahmad)

Alhamdulillah,
our first water pump has been installed in Kala Abadi village, where there was no water for miles.

Two taps have been set up — one in the madrassa and one outside — for the whole community.

The smiles on the children’s faces say it all.

May Allah accept this sadaqah. Ameen.

Kifayah Sustenance Project

20th March 2026

Alhamdulillah, on 20th March 2026, Kifayah Foundation successfully carried out its Sustenance Project, providing essential tools to help individuals and families earn a livelihood with dignity and independence. Through this initiative, we aim to empower those in need by giving them the means to support themselves and their families, creating long-term impact rather than temporary relief. This effort reflects our commitment to uplifting communities with compassion, respect, and sustainable support.

Quote:
“The upper hand is better than the lower hand.”
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Bukhari)

Across all projects, our priority remains restoring dignity, providing immediate relief, and building sustainable pathways toward a better future for vulnerable individuals and families.

Supporting Orphanages

Providing food and essential items to orphanages to support the wellbeing and care of vulnerable children

They ask you about the orphans. Say: improving their condition is best.
Qur’an 2:220

Supporting & Visiting the Elderly
Spending time with the elderly brings comfort, dignity, and companionship. Through simple visits, conversation, and kindness, we remind them they are valued and never forgotten

He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young and respect to our elders.
Prophet Muhammad

Patient Transport Service

At Kifayah Foundation, we are committed to serving those in need with compassion and dignity. Many elderly individuals, orphans, and vulnerable people struggle to reach hospitals due to a lack of transport.

To help address this, we are launching a 24-hour Patient Transport Service to assist those who cannot afford or arrange transportation.

This free service will ensure that vulnerable members of our community can reach hospitals safely when they need care the most.

Emergency Relief – Mehtab & Family (14th March)

On 14th March, we were informed about Mehtab, a young boy who had suffered a severe hand injury and urgently needed medical attention.

Upon visiting his home, we were deeply moved by the family’s condition — they had no beds, clothing, food, clean water for sanitation, or even basic lighting.

The Kifayah team responded immediately. Overnight, food parcels were delivered. The next morning, the family was taken to the market where clothes and shoes were provided, along with a warm meal. Beds were arranged to restore comfort and dignity in their home. Water tanks and pipes were also purchased and installed the following day, ensuring access to clean water.

Through this effort, we aimed to bring relief, dignity, and hope back into their lives.

“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress, Allah will relieve his distress on the Day of Judgment.”
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Muslim)

Mobility Support

Kifayah Foundation provides wheelchairs and walking aids to elderly individuals and those in need who cannot afford them. Our aim is to support mobility, independence, and dignity for vulnerable members of the community.

“Those who spend their wealth by night and by day, secretly and publicly, will have their reward with their Lord.”
— Qur'an 2:274
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven ears; in every ear are a hundred grains.”
— Qur'an 2:261.
